HILLSDALE, Mich.—Due to the increase in positive Influenza B and RSV cases within our community, Hillsdale Hospital is restricting Birthing Center visitors.
Influenza and RSV can be fatal to infants. These restrictions are essential to protecting one of our most vulnerable populations.
Visitation Guidelines
- Birthing Center visitors are restricted to a significant other/support person and healthy grandparents only.
- Children, including siblings, aged 16 and under are not permitted in the Birthing Center at this time.
These guidelines will be reviewed regularly as flu season progresses. When it is safe and appropriate to do so, visitation restrictions will be lifted.
