Future of Nursing academic assistance program accepting applications
Hillsdale Hospital announced that applications are now open for the 2025 cycle of its Future of Nursing academic assistance program. High school seniors are eligible to apply for tuition assistance of up to $10,000 per year for up to five years for an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
“Nurses are essential to the lifesaving work we do at Hillsdale Hospital,” said Chief Nursing Officer Meghan Campbell. “It’s important to us that we foster our team’s education and growth from day one—that’s why we value the Future of Nursing scholarship so highly.”
Students interested in applying for the Future of Nursing scholarship can submit applications online at hillsdalehospital.com/education. Applications must include the completed application form, letters of recommendation, two essays addressing the student’s educational and career goals, and a high school transcript. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, April 1 at 4 p.m.
“We are happy to work with our Hillsdale County educators to support and grow local caring talent,” Chief Administrative Officer Stacy Feltz said. “The Future of Nursing scholarship program has been instrumental in helping us provide exceptional care to our patients and leadership in our operations. Many of our past scholarship winners continue to support the Hillsdale community through direct patient care and nursing leadership careers.”
Selected applicants will participate in an interview round and awardees will be announced at the end of April.
