Hillsdale Hospital Requests Responses to Community Health Needs Assessment

Survey open to Hillsdale County residents until February 14, 2025

Hillsdale Hospital opened their community health needs assessment survey to the residents of Hillsdale County for responses. The survey contains 40 questions, including demographic, health and healthcare experience questions, and can be found at hillsdalehospital.com/survey.

All hospitals and health departments that receive federal funds are required to periodically complete community health needs assessment surveys. Hillsdale Hospital conducts this survey every three years in concurrence with their strategic planning.

“This survey is intended to identify health needs, gaps, assets and resources in our community,” said Chief Quality, Information and Technology Officer John Robertson. “The responses, along with published data about our community, will help us establish goals for the next three years to address the most significant of these healthcare needs.”

After the survey closes on February 14, 2025, leaders at the hospital will analyze the survey responses to determine what the public perceives as the most pressing healthcare needs in the community.

“The feedback we receive from our community plays an instrumental part in how we form our next steps as a hospital,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Jeremiah J. Hodshire. “Survey responses help us realize what matters the most to our community and what we need to do to ensure a healthy future for the families of Hillsdale County.”

Hillsdale County residents can take the survey at hillsdalehospital.com/survey or find a hard copy at a Hillsdale Hospital clinic, the local health department or Community Action Agency.
