HILLSDALE, Mich.—Hillsdale Hospital announced today the introduction of Dr. John Anderson to its medical staff and the robust team of providers at Hillsdale Orthopedics.
Anderson, a Michigan native, earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Michigan. He began working as a physical therapist and continued to do so while also attending medical school at U of M. Upon graduation, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. After that, he immediately began an orthopedic surgery and sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
“Dr. Anderson joins the team with a reputation of high regard for his bedside manner and delivering high-quality care,” Seth Gibson, director of outpatient services, said. “He has decades of experience providing excellent care to his patients, as evidenced by many of his former patients from Brighton and Ypsilanti who have chosen to continue seeing him here in Hillsdale.”
Anderson spent more than 25 years working at Michigan SportsMedicine and Orthopedic Center in Ypsilanti, Mich., and most recently worked at Livingston Orthopedics in Brighton, Mich.
“Dr. Anderson brings decades of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine to our community,” Rachel Lott, director of marketing and development, said. “With Dr. Anderson and Dr. Patel, along with our great team of advanced practice providers and University of Toledo doctors, we are able to provide excellent care for even more patients quickly and efficiently.”
Anderson joins the Hillsdale Orthopedics practice with Dr. Parthiv Patel, and advanced practice providers Alyssa Hartley, Woody Holder, Ken Rubin and Nicole Salloum. In affiliation with University of Toledo Orthopaedics, Dr. Maged Hanna, Dr. Osama Elattar, Dr. Vithal Shendge and Dr. Christopher Sanford provide support for the practice as well.
“Putting patients first is my number one priority,” Anderson said.
