Contributing organizations include Hillsdale College, Hillsdale County Community Foundation and CNB Foundation
Local businesses supported Hillsdale Hospital’s Capital Campaign to improve access to healthcare for the community. The funds raised by this initiative were used for capital equipment to support patient care and staff safety at the hospital.
Donors include Hillsdale College, the CNB Foundation, Drew’s Place Assisted Living, Stillwell Ford and Southern Michigan Bank and Trust. The Hillsdale County Community Foundation provided a grant for one of the pieces of equipment in the campaign.
The equipment purchased with the Capital Campaign funds includes a new HVAC unit for the laundry department, a generator for Hillsdale Orthopedics, Workstations on Wheels for the medical surgical unit, an echocardiogram machine, a Hana Fracture Table and an updated HUGS Infant Security System.
Hillsdale College initiated a match campaign, encouraging their staff and faculty to contribute to the hospital, then matching each contribution.
“We are blessed with an excellent community hospital, managed by our neighbors and serving us with efficiency and courtesy,” said Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry Arnn. “We are grateful for all that it does and are proud to have supported it in this way.”
The Hillsdale County Community Foundation supported the campaign with a grant for the purchase of an echocardiogram machine, which is used to diagnose heart disease and other related conditions. The CNB Foundation, Stillwell Ford, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, Drew’s Place Assisted Living and other local businesses also made significant contributions to the campaign.
“Hillsdale Hospital is grateful for the community businesses who support our mission to provide high-quality healthcare to the community,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Jeremiah J. Hodshire. “We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the organizations that came together to help us achieve this milestone.”
